Self-pay patients are expected to settle their account by cheque on the day of consultation.
Patients with private health insurance are expected to attend with a referral letter from their GP together with an authorisation number from their insurer.

Insurers will generally cover an initial consultation as well as a follow up appointment for a single condition.
In all circumstances, responsibility for payment of the consultation rests ultimately with the patient. Should any sponsorship or guarantee fail, or insurance claim be declined in whole or in part, the patient will be required to pay the outstanding balance in full.
